An East Bridgewater Music Parents Association program to bring instruments to deserving students in the community.

A new project to gather, fix and redistribute used band instruments to East Bridgewater students at very low costs.  All items provided will be assessed to determine their condition, refurbished if necessary and given to deserving students to use during their years in the East Bridgewater school system.

We would like to share this information with all EB Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Color Guard, and Concert Choir Alumni.

STUDENT ACCOUNT RULES CHANGED:

The East Bridgewater Music Parents Association has voted to change the rules governing Student Music Accounts.  These accounts were formerly known as Trip Accounts.  The major change is that accounts will no longer be forfeited at graduation.

If a student reaches graduation and still has a balance in their Student Music Account, the student .can request (in writing to the EBMPA) that the balance of their account be paid to their college.  These funds can be applied to tuition, fees, or books.  Checks must be made payable to the college for the benefit of the student.
example: Bridgewater State College FBO John Smith.

If a student does not enroll in a college (in the year following graduation), any balance in their account may be passed down to a sibling or to another student in the East Bridgewater school system.  In order to pass the account, the graduating student must request (in writing to the EBMPA) that their acount be turned over to named student.

If a graduating student takes no action the balance in the account will be forfeited.
